Here is the final result of the poster and ticket I designed. I I tried to play up the art deco style to reinforce the Great Gatsby theme. I drew the patterns in Photoshop and did some digital airbrushing to make it appear to be printed in gold foil.
We filled the little bistro to the brim with guests decked out in 20's finery. It was so fun to look at all the great outfits. The menu was delicious. My favorite thing was the Kohl cannon balls, which were fried mashed potatoes. We also had a raffle. I contributed a pencil on wood drawing of a deer in a moonlit forest.
