Hey there...
I work at Dover Public Library in Ohio as the Adult Department Manager.
As you may know from experience, small libraries are amazing and they require the staff to be flexible and versatile in what they do. Working at a small library has given me a lot of opportunities to learn a diverse range of skills I may not have needed if I had worked in a more specialized work environment.
My passions are creating engaging programs and using graphic design and illustration to help patrons have a great experience at the library.
A little more about who I am...
I have traveled to the other side of the world, picked tea in southern China, walked through the 1,000 torii gates of the Fushimi Inari shrine and visited Stonehenge. I am the co-creator of Reading Dragons and Friends and run the site. I am also an illustrator and share my printable paper dolls and crafts in my online shop. My hobbies include digital illustration, and playing board games. You can see my art on Instagram under Paper_Fable.
